On Tuesday 24 January Esteban Sañudo, researcher at GEAMA, participated as a lecturer in a workshop on 2D modelling of the IBER model at the FLUMEN facilities on the North Campus of the UPC, within the framework of the IBER-SWMM model integration project.
The session, created so that attendees can test this open-source software, aims to provide attendees with useful tools to integrate the two-dimensional modelling of overflow flows in the IBER model from the SWMM urban drainage network models, in a joint and integrated way.
Specifically, this training was given by the groups that developed this tool, FLUMEN and GEAMA, for members of the Giswater Association and the RIVUS Foundation. Both entities have collaborated in the project by testing the tool.
