The GEAMA researcher Manuel Regueiro Picallo achieved the third place in the SUMMIT 2024 call for research and innovation projects, presenting the MONTSE system (Monitoring of Temperatures in Sediments) which was developed as part of the Xunta de Galicia’s Postdoctoral Training Grants (ED481B-2021-082 and ED481D-2024-023). This call for prizes was developed in three phases; a first phase in which the idea for the prize was presented; the second phase in which a report of the research project was submitted; and the last phase, in a face-to-face format, consisted of a presentation to a jury during the event..
