GEAMA-HYGA has carried out hydrological, hydromorphometric and hydrochemical studies to establish the reference state of quality of surface and underground waters in order to analyze the evolution of their quality as a consequence of possible affections derived from mining exploitations.
Hydrogeology of Mining Dumps and Ponds
GEAMA-HYGA has developed analysis and studies on the characterization of the waterproofing of urban solid waste dumps, as well as the consequences of the accidental spillage from mining ponds.
