The professors and members of the GEAMA group, Joaquín Suárez and Jose Anta, together with professor Acacia Naves, will give a 42-hour course in distance learning mode aimed mainly at technicians, researchers and companies in the water sector in the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
The aim of the course is to train municipal and governmental technicians to ensure the correct planning, execution and maintenance of water management structures. New sustainable management techniques, such as Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) or Water Sensitive Urban Development (DUSA) are fundamental points directly related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
This course is organised within the framework of the agreement signed between the AECID and the UDC.
