On June 4, 2024, Gonzalo García-Alén Lores, PhD student at the GEAMA, presented his research work title «Improvement of the capabilities of the 2D shallow water models in hydrological applications». The presentation took place in the CITEEC, attended by faculty members, family, fellow students, and members of the GEAMA.

The defense was structured in two parts: a public presentation followed by a closed session with the thesis committee.
